What a beautifully written story. The characters
drew me in from the start and I was emerged into their story. I couldn’t put
the book down.
It follows Haylee Jordan who had a rough start in
life, and through all the heart ache she has learned to protect her heart from
more heartbreak, one night at a bar she meets the handsome Ryan Porter, a man
married to the military.
Ryan has his own set of heartbreaks behind him and
the two make an unlikely friendship. Of course nothing is ever as simple as you
might think. There are a couple of twists and turns in their story that make
you love the characters even more.
I really enjoyed this story and finished it in a
flash. One of my favourite contemporary romance that I have read this year.
